Esther Mae Routhier
1944 - 2009
PORTLAND -- Esther Mae Routhier, 65, a longtime resident of Holbrook Street, Freeport, passed away on July 6, in Portland.
She was born in Portland, April 30, 1944, a daughter of Osborne and Esther Mae (Brown) Condon. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1961. She worked at Friendly's in Freeport, where she was a manager and a waitress. She was a member of Eureka Grange 7, the the Red Hat Society and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing beano and took many trips to Foxwoods Casino and Hollywood Slots. She also enjoyed her weekly card games with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Debbie McComb, Rodney Routhier and his wife, Darlene, Heidi Routhier and her husband, Mike and Kevin Routhier; grandchildren, Bryon, Rachel, Nick and Lindsay; siblings, Carl Condon, Freeman Condon, Nancy Carter and Randy Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gregory L. Routhier in 1998.
