LEWISTON — A surprise 25th wedding anniversary party was held on Aug. 29 for Arthur and Muriel Ouellette of Lewiston at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston. The couple was married on Sept. 8, 1984, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
The event was hosted by their children and spouses, Diane and Gary Clark, Louis and Laurie Ouellette, Rene and Phyllis Ouellette, Denise Bowden, Denise and Daniel Cote, Suzanne Laliberte and Joline Laliberte.
A family quilt was presented by their grandchildren, Scott Clark, Jeremy Clark, Maeghan Pratt, Stephanie Pelky, Derik Ouellette, Desiree Ouellette, Scott Cote, Angela Cote, Nicole Bowden and Joshua Bowden.
Also in attendance to make the celebration special were many family members and friends, some from as far as California. The couple resides in Lewiston and they are parishioners at Holy Cross Church.
