FARMINGTON — A Livermore Falls man was sentenced Wednesday to serve 2½ years in jail with all but 30 days suspended for his part in burglaries and vandalism at camps on Porter Lake in New Vineyard and Strong in 2008.

Dylan R. Couturier, 19, had entered a guilty plea in June to 11 felony counts of burglary, five felony counts of aggravated criminal mischief and four misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and one misdemeanor count of theft by unauthorized taking.

Couturier is one of seven people charged in the spree involving more than 20 camps in June 2008 that caused more than $100,000 in damage.

He had previously entered into a deferred disposition and had a list of things he needed to successfully complete within a two-year period including 100 hours of community service, Assistant District Attorney Andrew Robinson said Wednesday at his office.

The disposition was revoked Wednesday due to Couturier violating a condition of release, he said. That charge was dismissed in a plea agreement, he said.

Other conditions of his sentence include he serve two years probation, pay $5,314.67 in restitution, submit to random search and testing for alcohol and drugs and complete counseling and treatment as directed by his probation officer for substance abuse, according to court documents.

Couturier received 30-day sentences for each of the misdemeanor charges to run concurrent with the sentence on the felonies.

Couturier's attorney, Margot Joly, was not available for comment Wednesday.

Judge Joker is as lame as

Judge Joker is as lame as the clown that robbed the camps. He didn't complete the 100 hrs. of community service in 2 yrs. That's < 1 hr. a week for all you math wizards. Hopeless is as hopeless does. Restitution or execution? Which will happen 1st?
