TURNER — The wedding of Jennifer Lee Plourde and Christopher Michael Bilodeau was held at 5 p.m. on June 20 at Bear Pond in Turner. Eva Leavitt, notary public, officiated at the ceremony, which was held on the beach.

Mrs. Bilodeau is the daughter of Richard and Debbie Plourde of Auburn. Mr. Bilodeau is the son of Raymond and Carol Bilodeau of Turner.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown and carried a bouquet of ivory roses and lilac Calla lilies.

Instead of favors, the couple donated money to the Special Olympics of Maine and the Maine Cancer Foundation.

Attendants for the bride were Erin Rogers, college friend, Jada Boisvert and Alecia Jones, childhood friends, and Kelly Nguyen, long-time friend. Myra Plourde, daughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Attendants for the bridegroom were Tim Bilodeau, his brother, Patrick Blanchard and John Mercier, friends, and Dana Plourde, brother of the bride. 

A reception followed at Bear Pond, after which the couple traveled to Florida. They are residing in Turner.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in early childhood special education. She is studying for her master's degree and is employed as case manager and special education teacher at Margaret Murphy Center for Children. She is also self-employed part time as a developmental therapist.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed as a customer service representative at Penmor Lithographers.
