Technology taking over

Things are not how they used to be when my parents were kids. My parents will simply never understand or adapt to such things as MySpace, Facebook and texting. And being in a relationship with someone is so much different than 10 or 20 years ago. It has more to do with technology than reality.

A guy doesn't have to ask a girl if she will be his girlfriend. It's become as simple as clicking a button on Facebook, requesting someone to be a girlfriend, which she can either accept or decline. If people aren't on MySpace or Facebook telling each other how much they "love" each other, then they are texting or sending instant messages to one another.

Rather then physically telling someone that he or she is beautiful, a person can simply click the "Like" button underneath a picture.

Instead of waiting for Prince Charming to show up, girls wait for the next text or picture comment, which, for all we know, could be from some 40-year-old bald guy using a false picture.
