AUBURN - Justin Rosner scored off a throw-in early in the first overtime to give Brunswick a 2-1 victory over Edward Little in a KVAC boys' soccer game Friday.
Rosner took the throw-in, turned and booted the ball into the top right corner for the game-winner to deny the Red Eddies' bid to knock off the top-ranked Dragons (11-1-1).
Brunswick led 1-0 at halftime on Zack McMillan's goal, but Edward Little (7-3-3) tied it with 18:35 remaining. Jeremy Theriault crossed a free kick from 35 yards out to J.J. Jackson, who beat Brunswick goalie Peter Morrell.
The Red Eddies were outshot 14-8, with goalie Ian Dollen-Oliveto making 10 saves. Morrell stopped five shots.
Lewiston 3, Oxford Hills 1
PARIS - Shobow Saban scored two goals in the first half and Ali Hersi sealed it with a goal with 1:42 remaining to lift Lewiston to a 3-1 boys' soccer victory over Oxford Hills on Friday night.
The Blue Devils (8-2-3) led 2-0 at halftime on Saban's pair scored two minutes apart midway through the first half. JJ Musse assisted on Saban's second goal.
Oxford Hills cut the lead in half when Ethan Davidson scored at 20:25 on a shot from 25 yards away that was lofted just beyond the reach of Lewiston goalie Chris Jacques.
With Lewiston's defense and Jacques protecting the one-goal lead, Hersi scored the clinching goal on a full-field rush.
Jacques stopped five shots, while Matt McVety had 15 saves for Oxford Hills.
Lisbon 6, Hall-Dale 1
LISBON - Marcus Bubar erupted for five goals and one assist to spark Lisbon to a 6-1 victory over Hall-Dale in an MVC boys' soccer game Friday.
The Greyhounds (8-5) led 2-0 at halftime, but eventually wore down the Bulldogs in the second half to pull away for the easy victory.
The five goals give Bubar 21 for the season with one regular-season game remaininmg.
Ryan Fairbanks chipped in with one goal and four assists, while Mike Degou also had an assist. Zack Plummer scored for Hall-Dale (4-9).
Ethan Audie made six saves in goal for the Greyhounds, while Jim McNaughton was credited with three stops for Hall-Dale.
Dirigo 1, Livermore Falls 0
LIVERMORE FALLS - Tyler Gates scored the game-winning goal on a breakaway with 1:28 left in the game, allowing Dirigo to shake off a stubborn Livermore Falls (7-5-1) with a 1-0 victory in a boys' soccer game Friday afternoon.
After a scoreless first half, the undefeated Cougars (12-0-1) finally found the back of the Livermore Falls net when Gates scored unassisted in the second half.
The Andies tried to put a dent in Dirigo's perfect record, but the Cougars barely came out on top, outshooting Livermore Falls, 10-7.
Oak Hill 5, Gardiner 0
WALES - Senior center halfback Adam Soucy notched a hat trick to lead Oak Hill to a 5-0 victory over Gardiner in KVAC boys' soccer action Friday afternoon.
Sophomore Bryan Soucy added to Adam's opening goal to put the Raiders (11-3) up 2-0 at the midpoint. Adam led off the second half by converting relays from Cody Foriter and Shawn Adams. Zach Lennett rounded out the scoring with an unassisted tally.
Goalie Caleb Smith made 14 saves for the Tigers, while Cody Plourde turned back four shots to earn the win in net for Oak Hill.
St. Dom's 1, Wiscasset 0
WISCASSET - Kurt Johnson scored in the 20th minute of the second half to lift St. Dom's to a 1-0 triumph over Wiscasset in MVC boys' soccer action Friday.
The Saints (13-0) outshot the Redskins (9-4) by a margin of 15-7, but were locked in a scoreless tie throughout the first half.
Then, in the 20th minute of the second stanza, Cam Brown served up a cross from the right flank that paralleled the mouth of the goal, where Johnson was waiting to head it into the cage for the game-winner.
Goalie Mason Brewer made eight saves for Wiscasset, while Nick Brigham prevented six to earn the shutout victory in net for St. Dom's.
Girls' soccer
Dirigo 2, Mt. Abram 0
DIXFIELD - Center half Lindsey Brann applied some solid play out of the middle to provide Dirigo early momentum as the Cougars downed Mt. Abram 2-0 in an MVC girls' soccer game Friday.
Paige Murphy chipped a shot over goalie Jillian Withee, who had come out expecting a low drive, to give the Cougars (7-7) an early 1-0 lead.
Kayla Gaudin, Kristin Blood and Mariah Larsen anchored the defense for Dirigo, while Natasha Deroche recorded her fourth shutout since taking over in goal midway through the season. Withee had 10 saves for the Roadrunners (6-6-1) in the losing effort.
Erin Turner poked in the second goal on a nice feed from Natalie Bolduc for a 2-0 haftime lead.
Leavitt 3, Maranacook 2
TURNER - Paige Landry picked up a loose ball and drove home a breakaway shot early in the second half for the eventual game-winner as Leavitt collected a 3-2 victory over Maranacook.
Mariah Treadwell and Kendra Ray put the Hornets (8-3-3) on top first. Maranacook responded with an Amanda Findley direct kick to cut the deficit in half before the midpoint.
Findley managed to shrink the deficit to just one goal again in the second half.
Mt. Blue 0, Messalonskee 0
FARMINGTON - Emily Deane made three saves to lead Mt. Blue to a 0-0 tie with Messalonskee in a KVAC girls' soccer game on Friday.
Mt. Blue (5-5-3) outshot Messalonskee 15-5, but couldn't solve Messalonskee goaltender Sarah Jacques.
The tie with the point-rich Eagles (7-4-2) improves the Cougars' playoff hopes with one game remaining.
Winslow 3, MCI 0
PITTSFIELD — Kim Curtis scored a pair of goals to lead unbeaten Winslow to a 3-0 victory over MCI.
Madelaine Daily also scored to round out the scoring for the Black Raiders (14-0), who led 2-0 at halftime.
Elizabeth Ferry needed only to make one save for the shutout. Winslow outshot MCI (4-9-1), 20-1.
