Boys' soccer: Hebron blanks Gould

BETHEL — Lonnie Taylor netted a pair of goals as Hebron chopped their way to a 6-0 triumph over Gould in boys' soccer action Saturday.

The Lumberjacks (6-3) jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead. In addition to Taylor's game opening goal in the seventh minute, Ben Blais, Tavis Gibbons, Vlad Gavrik and Matt Bouchard added to the logpile.

Goalie Antonie Dutil made 18 saves for Gould, while Ju Hwan Kim and Davis Hart combined for two saves in net for Hebron.

HEBRON — Jamal Johnson rushed for a pair of goals to lead Tilton to a 26-13 victory over Hebron in football action Saturday.

Tilton (4-0) scored four unanswered touchdowns before Hebron (1-3) posted a single point. Clebert Marcelin rushed for a one-yard touchdown in the third quarter, while Levi Lincoln barrelled ahead for a three-yard tally.
