LEWISTON — The Central Maine Football Camp, scheduled to begin Sunday, July 26, at Bates College has been canceled for this year.
Buckfield scramble
TURNER — The Buckfield Recreation Department is hosting an 18 hole scramble on Sunday, Aug. 2, at Turner Highlands Country Club. Proceeds are to benefit the general recreation fund. Registration is at 7:30 a.m. with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The fee is $40 per player or $160 per foursome. There will be prizes awarded, as well as a 50/50 drawing. Hole sponsorships are available for a donation of $100 in cash or prize donations. There are still limited spaces available for teams to enter and room for sponsors as well.
