Two candidates are hoping to succeed Ward 6 Counclor Betty Dube, who chose not to seek a second term in her seat: Mark A. Cayer and David M. Dunn.

 

Mark A. Cayer

Age:45

Occupation:Maine Licensed private investigatore

Education: Lewiston High School graduate; Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

Political experience:Farmington Board of Appeals, Farmington Budget committee. Farmington Selectman 2002 through 2009.

Community Organizations:Rape Education and Crisis Hotline; Maine Licensed Private Investigators Association.

David M. Dunn

Age:52

Address:130 Summit Ave.

Occupation: Notary public and dedimus justice. Formerly employeed by Fairchild Semiconductor, laid-off in 2008.

Education:Twinfield Union High School, Marshfield, Vt.; Central Maine Technical College, associate degree in applied science.

Community Organizations:Kora Shrine; Lodge Council Chapter, Valley of the Androscoggin Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; Informed notaries of Maine.
