RUMFORD — A woman wanted in Pennsylvania and arrested Saturday afternoon by Rumford police remained behind bars Tuesday evening in Paris, awaiting extradition, according to police and jail officials.
Cpl. Douglas Maifeld arrested Alicia Zane, 29, of Rumford, at 4:15 p.m. on River Street on a Philadelphia police probation-violation warrant charging failure to appear on charge of contempt of court.
Unable to post bail, Zane was taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris, and will be extradited to Pennsylvania, according to Maifeld.
