LEWISTON — Residents may register to vote and pick up or drop off absentee ballots from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Lewiston City Hall.
City officials are expecting a heavy turnout at the polls Tuesday, so the Clerk's Office scheduled special office hours to help cut down on potential lines. The City Clerk's Office is on the second floor of City Hall, 27 Pine St.
Voter services may also be conducted during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday. The election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The city's Web site, ci.lewiston.me.us, is also hosting voter information, including the 2009 Citizen's Guide to the
Referendum Election, as prepared by the Elections Division of the
Secretary of State's Office. The full list of municipal candidates is
also available on the city's Web site.
Ballot or Lewiston voting questions may be directed to the Lewiston City Clerk's Department at 513-3124.
