LISBON — An Auburn motorcyclist escaped apparent serious injury Sunday afternoon in a car-motorcycle crash on Route 196 at the intersection of Village Street.
Officer Richard St. Amant identified the operator of the motorcycle as Dianna St. Hilaire, 52. She was thrown from her two-wheeler and complained of pain. She was transported to St. Mary's Hospital by Lisbon Emergency. No information was available on the extent of her injuries, St. Amant said.
The driver of the car, Kelsey Piche, 17, of Lisbon Falls, was not injured.
According to St. Amant, Piche was traveling west on Route 196 and St. Hilaire was making a left turn from Village Street onto Route 196 when she collided with Piche. St. Hilaire was accompanied by her husband, who was driving a second motorcycle, but he was not involved in the crash.
No charges were filed and there was only minor damage to both St. Hilaire's 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle and Piche's 1998 Dodge Neon in the 1:22 p.m. crash.
