Grand opening of bike, walk path slated

LIVERMORE FALLS — The grand opening of the Livermore Falls Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6.
The introduction of the path will happen at the midpoint of the path, where the handicap parking is located, before the tennis courts, according to Town Manager Jim Chaousis.
People are encouraged to park at the municipal parking lot, walk the path to the introduction, and enjoy the walk on the way in.
This event will be held rain, sleet, snow, or all three, he said. There is the possibility there may even be sun, but dress appropriately, he added.
