Former Edward Little High School student Barry Daniel Smith of Auburn recently graduated from Hesser College, Manchester N.H., with a degree in criminal justice. Smith has joined the U.S. Army and will attend nine weeks of military basic training and five weeks of AIT school at Fort Sills, Okla. in November. His career field specialty will be artillery weapons crew member.
