Open house

LEWISTON — The Central Maine Sleep Center will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. Visitors will be provided tours of the new facility and will have the opportunity to speak with sleep specialists who diagnose and treat sleep disorders.

The center features eight sleep rooms, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, and education and counseling sessions. The center is located on the lower level of the 60 High Street Medical office complex.

Bridge play

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 2 were: first, Marta Clements and Nancy Farmer; second, Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry; third, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings.

Games are played at 9 a.m. every week and a partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.

Crafters wanted

LISBON — The Lisbon Boosters will have their annual Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Lisbon High School. Those interested in reserving a table may e-mail Kathi Yergin at kril62@yahoo.com or call 577-3061. Tables are $30 for an 8 foot table, or crafters may bring their own table for $25.

Insurance association

LEWISTON — The National Association of Insurance Women - Androscoggin Valley will meet Thursday, Nov. 12, at Marco's Restaurant, Mollison Way.

The meeting will begin with a social/networking hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 5:45 p.m. Lisa Laliberte, CLU,ChFC, CASL, from State Farm Insurance, will speak on her extensive research of the current health care reform.
