Berwick bumps Hebron

  BERWICK — Lyndsey Bralton broke a scoreless deadlock in the 56th minute as Berwick came away with a 1-0 victory over Hebron in a prep school matchup Wednesday.

Hebron outshot Berwick 13-1 in the first half but failed to find the net. Hebron's shooting wasn't exactly accurate in the second frame, either, firing 10 shots toward Berwick keeper Lee Tsairis with no success. 

Tsairis finished with 18 saves to notch the shutout, while Bradish finished with two saves for Hebron. 

Winslow 6, Caribou 1
WINSLOW — The Winslow girl's soccer squad erupted for five goals in the second frame as they came away with a 6-1 victory over Caribou in the Eastern Maine Championship game.

Alliyah Veilleux led Winslow with two goals and two assists. Kaylee Constable, Hayley Lavasseur, Madeline Daley and Miranda Dodge also tallied for the Black Raiders to complete the scoring. Jessica Gordon made five saves for Winslow to notch the win.

Caribou received its lone goal from Abby Small with 35 minutes left in the first half. Brittany Doak turned aside 22 shots between the posts for Caribou. 

Proctor 3, Hebron 2
ANDOVER, NH — Courtney Birch netted an unassisted goal at the 8:41 mark in overtime to lift Proctor to a 3-2 victory over Hebron in prep school field hockey action Wednesday.

Birch led Proctor with two goals overall, while Warren David also tallied. Taylor Weaver made 10 saves to record the win. 

Angela Brochetti and Lauren Ratsep each scored a goal for Hebron, while Lauren Yomantas turned aside three shots in net.
