FARMINGTON — Maine short story writers, John Clark of Hartford and Woody Hanstein of Farmington, will each read from their works included in the recently published collection of New England crime fiction, "Quarry," at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Farmington Public Library.
Recently released by Level Best Books, which has published an annual collection of some of the most outstanding crime and mystery short fiction for the last seven years, "Quarry" contains the 21 best stories selected from the nearly 100 works submitted by crime and mystery writers all over New England.
The public is welcome to attend to hear the readings and discussion of the works. The collection of stories is now becoming available in local bookstores and libraries and copies will be available for sale at the Farmington Library.
