Maxwell C. Allen
1991 - 2009

DURHAM - Maxwell C. Allen, 18, of Runaround Pond Road, Durham, died Friday, Nov. 13, in Durham from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born April 12, 1991, in Portland, the son of John H. and Sandra J. "Jill" (Cameron) Allen. He was educated in Durham schools, and graduated from Brunswick High School with the Class of 2009. Max was active during high school with the drama club and had enjoyed operating the lighting system for school productions.

He was currently attending classes at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland and working at Coldstone Creamery in Brunswick.

He was an active member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Lewiston, and was an integral part of the Youth Ministry program at the church. Together with members of the church, he travelled to the Dominican Republic this summer to help out with repairs to a church building and to minster to the children there.

He enjoyed many different types of art, and had a special interest in photography, which blended well with his love of nature. Max will be remembered by his family and friends for his dry sense of humor and the many practical jokes he loved to play.

He is survived by his parents of Durham; a brother, John H. Allen III of Durham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
