PORTLAND — Football fans will get a pre-Thanksgiving feast of pigskin Saturday when the three state high school football championships will kick off at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.

The Maine Principals' Association Monday announced the starting times of Saturday's games following a conference call with coaches and administrators from the participating schools. The Class A game, pitting Windham (10-1) against Bangor (11-0) will start the day with an 11:06 a.m. kickoff. The Class C game, with Dirigo (11-0) taking on Foxcroft Academy (11-0), will follow at 2:30 p.m. The nightcap will feature Cape Elizabeth (11-0) against Leavitt (11-0) and will begin at 6 p.m. Bangor, Dirigo and Leavitt have been designated the home teams, which is determined on an alternating basis.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $4 for students. One ticket is good for all three games, but spectators who leave Fitzpatrick Stadium will have to buy another ticket to get back in. City of Portland policy prohibits entering with backpacks, duffel bags, or containers of any drinks.

Tickets will be on sale at the participating high schools during school hours starting Tuesday.
