Thursday, Nov. 19, is Jazz Night at Holly's Own Deli & Restaurant, 84 Court St., Auburn. Featured will be local musicians Tim Clough on stand-up bass, Tom Schipper on drums and John Smedley on guitar. Calling themselves the 3 Point Trio, they will perform jazz standards as well as improvisations. On Friday, Nov. 20, Carole Wise, a singer, songwriter,guitarist and Edward Little High School teacher, will perform originals from her recent CD, "'Northeast By Southwest." Both shows will run from 6:30 to 10 p.m. There is no cover charge.

Come on, yes there are rich republicans. However on the other side of the aisle sit as many rich democrats. None of them know the meaning of poor. The whole system needs a cleanout with fresh faces. Any body in office was elected by money and tons of it. It is time for the people not born with a silver spoon in their mouth to take over. Until people start voting for the outsiders the insiders will be in control. Get out and vote for the real underdogs. The third party candidates. Opps good democrats and republicans can't do that can they.
