FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Democrats will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at the University of Maine at Farmington Student Center to talk with gubernatorial candidate Steve Rowe, Maine's attorney general from 2001 to 2009.
The group will participate in an issues forum on the latest developments in health care and energy legislation moving through Congress.
Attendees also will review and discuss the progress resulting from the County Democrats' community work over the past few months. Field organizers from Change that Works, Repower Maine, and Organizing for America will lead discussions on next steps in the Franklin County Democrats' work for the people of the county.
The Nov. 22 meeting is open to all registered Democrats and to any community members who might want to consider becoming Democrats. Attendees are asked to bring hors d'oeuvres to share.
