AUBURN — Lewis "Bill" W. Mosher, 77, of Auburn passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, in Auburn.

He was born March 24, 1932, in Cornville, the son of the late Verne P. and Myrtle E. (Wescott) Mosher.

He was educated in the Cornville Schools, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

He worked as a truck driver in the Lewiston-Auburn area.

He enjoyed building items out of things other people would throw away.

He is survived by his best friend and companion, Jeanne Quinn of Lewiston; two daughters; two sons; two sisters, Olive Libby of Skowhegan and Maplebelle Jackson of Cornville; a brother, Sumner Mosher and his wife, Thelma, of Madison; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one daughter and two brothers.
