ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A man accused of abducting his 2-year-old daughter and bringing her to New Hampshire has agreed to be returned to Maine.

In court Friday, 38-year-old Gary Traynham waived extradition to Maine. He is accused of violently attacking the girl's mother last week then fleeing with his daughter in a stolen pickup truck, triggering the state's first Amber Alert.

Traynham was found by a hunter the next day in Milton, N.H.

Interesting that he waived

Interesting that he waived extradition. It looks like he either feels he did nothing wrong and justice will prevail and is anxious to have his day in court is intent on taking responsibiliity for his actions. Either way, how refreshing.
