Several hundred crows take flight from a tree on Blake Street in Lewiston Monday night as the spires of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul loom in the background. They were just a few of the thousands of crows roosting in several area trees. It is not uncommon for hundreds of thousands of the birds to come together at this time of year to keep each other warm, communicate, find mates and they find safety in numbers.

oh this is news all of a sudden, i called one year and they said this isn't news, make up my mind sj. depends on who calls right?
