MEXICO — The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department.

Attempted burglary

An Osgood Avenue resident reported at 4:34 p.m., Nov. 10, that someone had attempted to enter his garage while he was away. The garage sustained about $200 damage.

Accidents

Deborah M. Gurney, 54, Dixfield, collided with a deer at 8:23 p.m., Nov. 23, as she was driving her 2007 Chevrolet sedan west along the River Road. The vehicle sustained $1,000 damage. The deer flipped onto the windshield, then ran into the woods.

Vehicles driven by Wanda L. Flagg, 44, Judkins Road, Carthage, and Shantel M. Buccina, 38, Swett Avenue, Mexico, collided at 12:11 p.m., Nov. 23, on Main Street .Flagg's 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck sustained $2,500 damage. Buccina's 2007 Nissan sedan was destroyed.
