Doris L. Jalbert
1947 - 2010
LEWISTON — Doris L. Jalbert of 10 Lowell Court, Lewiston, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, Feb. 1, at her home, after a courageous battle with emphysema.
She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 23, 1947, daughter of Bertrand Jalbert Sr. and Grace Fortier. She attended Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1966.
She worked many years as a certified nursing assistant and as a unit clerk at d'Youville Pavilion. Her hobbies included many crafts, photography and videography. She was a member of the Good News Chapel in Lewiston.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Bragdon of Massachusetts; four grandchildren; two brothers, Bertrand Jalbert Jr. and Robert Jalbert, both of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Robert G. Bourbeau.
In respect of her wishes, no services will be held.
