Paul D. Fazekas
1932 - 2010

AUBURN — Paul D. Fazekas, 77, of Martin Drive, Lewiston, died Sunday, Feb. 7, at the Hospice House, after a short illness, with his family by his side.

He was born in Madison, Aug, 31, 1932, the son of Paul and Mary Demko. He later was adopted by Andrew and Katherine Fazekas of Lisbon Falls.

He had resided in Lewiston with his wife for the last 47 years. He had served in the Korean War. He had been employed as a plumber/pipe fitter with Grondin and also was self-employed. He retired at the age of 64 and liked spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Florence I. Fazekas of Lewiston; half sister, Christine Reedes of Madison; one son, Michael P. Fazekas and wife, Lillian, of Leeds; two daughters, Pauline G. Fazekas and Stephen Smith of Lisbon Falls and Donna F. McLaughlin and husband, Chris, of Starks; one grandson, Ryan Fazekas and wife, Heather, of Vermont; two granddaughters, Kaitlynn McLaughlin of Starks and Samantha McLaughlin of Starks; one brother-in-law, Roger Croteau of Lisbon Falls; and two sisters-in-law, Georgette Croteau of Lisbon Falls and Cecile Fortin of Lewiston.
