SOUTH PARIS — The Thrifty Gift Shop at 659 Park St. will hold a grand opening Friday, Feb. 12, beginning at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served.

The store is about 3 miles from Market Square, heading north on Route 26. It features a variety of items, including clothing, kitchen objects, toys, games, along with a good variety of Valentine gifts. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Income from the project will help support the Families in Crisis Task Force Outreach office, as well as the food pantry.

Donations of gently-used or new item are welcome and qualify for a tax deduction. The store would also welcome volunteers for the thrift shop and the food pantry. For more information, call Peggy at 357-7072.
