WWC offers FDA workshop

MEXICO — Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is offering a workshop, "Introduction to FDA's Matched Savings," from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 1 at the Region 9 Adult Education Learning Center, 377 River Road, Mexico.

This workshop will help individuals learn about matched savings accounts that may help further their education, receive job training, or to start or grow one's own business. Those who qualify may apply to open a Family Development Account, so that every $1 saved can be matched by $2 from public and private investors. There is no charge for the workshop.
