RANGELEY — Nomination papers are available for seats on town boards and commissions, Town Clerk Ethna Thompson said.
Voters will elect town officials on June 8, but first those interested in the offices must file nomination papers with no less than 25 signatures and no more than 100 by April 23, she said.
The terms of Selectmen Donald Nuttall and Jim Stone expire this year.
The terms of Park Commission members Kerry McMillan and Barbara Quimby also expire this year.
Two seats on the Sewer Commission held by John Cannizzaro and Daniel Perkins expire this year.
The Rangeley Water District also has two spots that will be open, those held by Vernon Bean and Davis Wurts.
All seats are for three years, she said.
So far, three nomination papers for the two selectmen positions have been filed.
Anyone interested in serving on the town boards may pick up papers at the Rangeley Town Office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
