Norman J. Cloutier


Livermore Falls – Norman J. Cloutier, 63, a resident of Fayette Road in Livermore Falls, died suddenly Tuesday, Jan. 23, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1943, in Chisholm, the son of Flavien and Yvette (Desjardins) Cloutier. He attended Livermore Falls High School, Class of 1961. On Dec. 6, 1975, he married Elizabeth Young in Webster, Mass.

He had worked at Cole-Haan Shoe Co. in Livermore Falls, G.H. Bass Co. in Wilton for 20 years and most recently for Allen-Edmonds Shoe Corp. in Lewiston. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, playing darts, card games and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Betty of Livermore Falls; his mother, Yvette Cloutier of Russell Park Manor in Lewiston; two daughters, Amy McDaniel, and her husband, Vern, of Jay and Sarah Cloutier of Portland; a granddaughter, Alana McDaniel; four brothers and their wives, Raymond and Jan Cloutier of Livermore Falls, Roger Cloutier of Fayette, Rene and Barbara Cloutier of Livermore Falls and Reynald and Denise Cloutier of Jay; four sisters and their husbands, Louise and Reginald Tardif of Jay, Lorraine and Winfield Real of Wilton, Rita Dyer of Augusta and Jeannette Hiltz of Jay; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father in 1988.
