SOUTH PARIS — Norman A. Perham, 93, of Woodstock, died May 13, at Maine Veterans’ Home.
He was born in Woodstock, Oct. 4, 1917, the son of Nelson and Emma Perham. He enlisted in the Army on May 3, 1943, and served as a radio operator and mechanic until his honorable discharge as a sergeant on March 3, 1946.
He was an avid reader and loved visiting with his many friends. Norman lived in Woodstock all his life and he earned his living by working in the woods.
He is survived by Janice Myers; niece of Florida, and her children, William Alvin Myers Jr., Bertha Ann Myers, Richard Alan Myers and Elizabeth Myers; nine great-great-nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Leon Poland of Woodstock.
He was predeceased by his parents, Nelson and Emma Perham.
