WATERFORD — Normand A. Morin Sr., 72, of Chadbourne Road, Waterford, died May 2, at home after a battle with cancer.
He was born in Keegan, Aug. 8, 1937, the son of Arthur and Marie Ann Morin. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
He served in the Army for six years, making sergeant (E5.) He did a tour at this time in Germany. As a young man, he worked as a woodsman and as his last years of employment, he retired from Pioneer Plastics.
He leaves behind his wife, Judy Dunn Morin. Family members include Normand Morin Jr. and Ellen Bragg of South Paris, Donna and Gerard Mathieu of Sabattus, Denise McAllister and David McDaniels of Norway and Arthur and Cindy Morin of Greene; step-children, Bradley and Patty Dunn of Freeport, Rhonda Dunn of Norway and Adelbert and Linda Dunn of Germany; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters; and three brothers.
He was predeceased by two brothers; and one sister.
