Officials probe N.H. plane crash

WAKEFIELD, N.H. (AP) – A Maine couple escaped serious injury when their small plane flipped over while landing during the weekend.

Alan and Gloria Theriault, both 51, of Cumberland Center, Maine, were landing in a field, their intended destination, on a flight from Ossipee on Sunday when the plane flipped forward and landed upsidedown, police said.

The Theriaults were checked out at the hospital and released.

Federal aviation officials were due at the scene Monday.
