NORWAY — Teens are invited to perform when Norway Memorial Library presents a Teen Comedy Night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 18. The event will be hosted by Edible Television, the stage name of two local teen comedians, Steve Corning and Tony Stevens.
The event is open to Oxford Hills teens in grades seven to 12 and those who want to perform will need to sign up before May 18 for a 15-minute segment. The humor will be family-friendly. SOUTH PARIS — Residents living in and around the South Paris community can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. The American Legion Post 72 will host Life Line Screening on Wednesday, June 23, at 12 Church St. Appointments will begin at 9 a.m.

Seniors to meet
WEST PARIS — The West Paris Senior Citizens met on May 4, at the home of Ted and Betty Jones, for a potluck luncheon followed by a meeting and program presented by program director Carol Corriveau. There were nine members present. Several members could not attend due to illness.
The next meeting will be held at noon Tuesday, June 1, at the home of Pat and Fred Breame, Route 26.
WATERFORD — The Waterford World’s Fair is planning a community yard sale to be held on Sunday, June 20 inside the dance hall.
Tables are available to rent for $10. Donations for the sale are also welcome, with proceeds going to the Fair to help pay for improvement projects at the Fairgrounds.
