PARIS — Professional and amateur actors, dancers and musicians performing popular Gershwin music will flood the stage March 26-28 for the Oxford Hills School/Community production of “Crazy For You.”

The Broadway play revolves around Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930s playboy whose dream is to dance. Despite the serious efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancée, he achieves his dream.

Memorable Gershwin tunes in the show include “I Can’t Be Bothered Now,” “Bidin’ My Time,” “I Got Rhythm,” “Naughty Baby,” “They Can’t Take That Away From Me,” “But Not For Me,” “Nice Work if You Can Get It,” “Embraceable You” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

Besides classic Gershwin music, this high-energy comedy is known for its mistaken identities, plot twists and great dance numbers.
