Merrill started the season with four straight shutouts, including last Wednesday’s masterful 1-0 win over Jay. Merrill has never lost a game she’s started and hadn’t allowed a runner to reach third this season until the Tigers stranded one in the loss.

Bryan Maurais, Livermore Falls

Maurais bounced back Wednesday after being struck in the head by a line drive two days earlier with two hits, including a three-run homer, and five RBIs in the Andies’ 12-2 win over Mt Abram.
