Parenting workshop set in June


LEWISTON – The Parent Resource Center, a program of Advocates for Children, has announced a three-part workshop for parents titled “Siblings Without Rivalry.” It is for all parents and caretakers dealing with the job of parenting multiple children.

The workshop will explore sibling rivalry, why it exists, how to deal with kids fighting and how to help siblings deal with their feelings about each other.

The free workshop will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, June 8 to 22, at the B Street Community Center, Advocates for Children, 57 Birch St., Suite 204. Registration is required, and child care will be provided.
