Patricia A. Haley


CASCO – Patricia Ann Haley, 60, of Coffee Pond, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Jan. 4.

She was born in Portland on Oct. 26, 1946, the daughter of Helen E. and George N. Roy Sr. Pat was a 1965 graduate of South Portland High School.

She was employed by New England Telephone.

She married Robert L. Haley on Feb. 17, 1968, while he was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Pat and Rob were then stationed on Goat Island Lighthouse in 1969, where she began her career as a homemaker. They then moved to the Munjoy Hill neighborhood of Portland, where she was very active in the community while raising her children.

In 1986, she founded Haley’s Driving Academy. Pat enjoyed working with all her students. In 1992, Pat became a real estate agent and was employed by Mark Stimpson Assoc., Dewolfe Real Estate and Coldwell Banker.

Pat will always be remembered for unrelenting love and dedication to her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Haley of Casco; sons, Jason and Susan Haley of Buckfield, Aaron and Jennifer Haley of Gray, and Seamus and Melissa Haley of Gray; daughter-in-law, Jeanelle Taylor; sisters, Marie and Edward Connolly, Georgia and Robert Taylor, and Cathy and James Collins; and her brothers, George Roy and Arthur and Jamie Roy. Patsy also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Brandon, Kati, Patrick, Megan, Shannon, Keegan and Liam.
