LISBON — Paul R. Monier, 74, of Lisbon and formerly of Greene, died Saturday, Nov. 4, at The Lamp Nursing Home in Lisbon, where he had been a resident for the past year.
Born in Lewiston on Aug. 8, 1943, he was the son of Alphonse and Ninette Dion Monier. Educated locally, he was a talented and resourceful automotive mechanic and worked in the service department of Louis Chevrolet for many years and then opened his own business, Monier’s Car Care.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lee Monier, of Lewiston; a son, Todd and fiancee, Donna Berube of Auburn; two daughters, Debbie and husband, John Stevens of Monmouth, and Cindy and husband, Peter Griffin of Randolph; a brother, Jean Monier of Southport, N.C.; six grandchildren, Candace, Brittney, Amanda, Corey, Alicia and Adam; and two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Olivia.
