LEWISTON — Pauline D. Perry, 75, of Lewiston, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 15, 1936, daughter of the late Arthur and Emerentienne Champion Callette. She was educated at Holy Cross Parochial School and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1954. She then attended St. Mary’s Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and graduated in 1957.

In her younger years, Pauline worked in local movie theaters as an usher and concessionaire. An accomplished pianist, she was accompanist for Clara Harnden-Desjardins School of Dance and was featured in local radio and television programs. After graduation from radiologic technician school, Pauline was employed by Dr. Paul Fortier as a technician and office manager for 22 years, until his office closed in 1978. She later worked as business manager at Holy Cross Church, until her retirement in 1998; she was the first woman in Maine to hold such a position.

Pauline was married May 28, 1960 to Normand M. Perry, who predeceased her Jan. 14, 2002. She was an insightful armchair judge of “Dancing with the Stars.” She also enjoyed classical music, word search puzzles, the ocean and reading, but she especially loved entertaining family and friends.
