RUMFORD — Funeral services for Pearlie Donald Carver of Rumford were held at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, with the Rev. Tony Rea; Pearlie’s son, the Rev. Glenn Carver; and the Rev. John Gensel officiating.
Musical selections included “How Great Thou Art” and “In The Garden.” Special musical selections included the 23rd Psalm, sung by Randy Corey, and “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow,” sung by Lynnette Carver. Words of remembrance were shared by his granddaughter, Stacy Gilbert.
Following the funeral, Pearlie was taken to Nova Scotia where another funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Parkdale/ Maplewood Baptist Church, with Pearlie’s Son, the Rev. Glenn Carver and Pearlie’s brother-in-law, the Rev. John Kaulback officiating.
Musical selections included “Amazing Grace,” sung by Charlene Millett, and 23rd Psalm, sung by Randy Corey. Words of remembrance were shared by Pearlie’s granddaughter, Stacy Gilbert.
Pallbearers were Stacy Gilbert, Jeff Gilbert, Andy Arsenault, Keith Carver, Graham Carver, Wade Foster, Gary Arsenault, Carson Carver, Ethan Carver and Maykalia Carver. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. John Kaulback. Interment was in the Parkdale/Maplewood Cemetery in Nova Scotia.
