A perverse appointment

I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard Secretary of Education Arne Duncan say on television recently that the No Child Left Behind Act had perverse incentives.

Talk about perverse incentives, is there anything more perverse than putting Kevin Jennings in charge of the safety of our public schoolchildren? Jennings is now the assistant deputy at the federal Education Department, and he is going to keep our children safe?

Everything about Jennings’ personal life has been unsafe, and his free rein in the public schools as founder and president of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network), I believe, has served to entice our children into dangerous homosexual behaviors.

In October 2005, Time magazine reported the growth in numbers of youth homosexuals. Is President Barack Obama, by this perverse appointment, giving credence to this dangerous lifestyle?

U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, has stated, “The totality of Mr. Jennings’ life is the promotion of homosexuality!”

The Roman world wallowed in aberrant behaviors but Christianity came along and paganism was defeated! Isn’t President Obama proud of our Judeo/Christian heritage? Why is he undermining it?

Earlier in the nation’s history, the Intercollegiate Socialist Society was founded. Among its founders were John Dewey and Robert Baldwin. Dewey infiltrated the colleges with Marxist ideology and Baldwin founded the ACLU.

I believe that the appointment of Jennings by Obama undermines the greatest religious movement the world has ever seen — Christianity.
