WEST PARIS — Peter John Cunningham IV, 33, of Rumford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 30, in West Paris.
Born in Lewiston on New Year’s Day 1984, to Peter Cunningham III and Marguerite Cobb, “Little Pete,” as friends and family referred to him, was a caring father, loving son and brother, avid fisher, lover of fast cars and passionate about sports, having attended many basketball camps in his youth.
The relationship he developed with God in his recent years helped him through many trying times as did the numerous friends he made attending church.
Coming from a tight-knit Italian family, Little Pete was best friends with his dad and was close with his mother and sisters. He was a hard worker, kindhearted and was always smiling and going out of his way to say hello. His loved ones ask that you remember him in this way.
He is survived by his two precious sons, Jacob and Darius; his father, Peter Cunningham III; his mother, Marguerite Cobb; and his three sisters, Erica, Tonya and Brianna Cunningham. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom he loved very much and talked about often.
