Nurses from St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston volunteer at the St. Mary’s Food Pantry during National Nurses Day on Friday. Ten nurses and certified nurse assistants delivered 450 pounds of food they collected and helped hand out to the needy. “It has been a very humbling experience listening to the conversations while waiting for the doors to open,” Nursing Supervisor Lena Theriault, far right, said. Nurses will continue volunteering at the pantry during National Nurses Week, which ends on May 12.
