AUBURN, Maine (AP) — Police in Maine are again appealing to the public for help in the case of a 17-year-old girl who disappeared 25 years ago this week.
Kim Moreau was last seen the night of May 9, 1986, when she left her home in Jay and never returned. Police suspect foul play, but her body was never found and nobody has been arrested in connection with her disappearance.
Kim’s father, Dick Moreau, and police said Monday that it’s time for somebody to come forward with information leading to her remains.
Dick Moreau has spent the past 25 years searching for answers to his daughter’s disappearance. He says his goal is to find his daughter’s remains and lay her to rest in a proper burial site.
