Police investigate multiple vehicle burglaries

LIVERMORE FALLS — Police responded to 10 calls of motor-vehicle burglaries on Saturday on Park Street, also known as Route 133.

Officer Joe Sage started getting the calls at 5:33 a.m., police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Wednesday. The vehicles entered were in an area from Diamond Road to Haines Corner Road, he said.

Between $65 and $75 in money and a pair of sunglasses were taken, he said. One of two garages that were entered to get to vehicles had an entry door kicked in, Steward said. Damage was estimated at $100.

Police believe the burglaries occurred between 3 and 4:30 a.m., he said.
