RUMFORD – The following arrests and accident were recently recorded.
• Alan Roy, 25, Lewiston, domestic assault, criminal threatening, criminal mischief, violation of conditions of release, 5:40 p.m. April 30 on Falmouth Street. He failed to post $1,000 cash bail and was taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris. He is to be arraigned on June 6 in Rumford District Court.
• Francis Arsenault, 30, Rumford, operating under the influence, second offense, 2 a.m. April 30 on Hancock Street. He was released on $700 unsecured bail, and is to be arraigned on Aug. 1 in Rumford District Court.
• May 3, 4:45 a.m. – Susan Mills, 29, of Dixfield, was not injured when the 2001 Chevrolet Ventura she was driving on Route 2 collided with a deer in the middle of the road. The car sustained an estimated $2,400 in damage.
Mexico police are investigating the break-in of a vehicle parked at the rear of an apartment building on Granite Street April 28. Chief Jim Theriault said perpetrators caused about $400 damage to the vehicle. About $500 cash was stolen from the console, along with a CD player and a wallet containing about $40.
