CARTHAGE — Later this month, New England Celtic Arts will present The Press Gang, a trio known for blending traditional Irish music with its curiosity and aptitude for other styles.

Squeezebox player Christian “Junior” Stevens, fiddler Alden Robinson and guitarist Owen Marshall will perform Wednesday, April 28, at Skye Theatre Performing Arts Center in Carthage; and Thursday, April 29, at Unity College Center for the Performing Arts.

Flutist Nicole Rabata will join the “gang” for this tour of Central Maine.

Stevens, an in-demand performer and teacher, has performed with some of the genre’s most talented artists. Robinson is also respected as a performer throughout New England’s traditional music community. Marshall, a multi-instrumentalist, has performed worldwide with many of traditional music’s top acts.
