LIVERMORE FALLS — Voters will decide the warrant articles for the June town meeting referendum at a public hearing on the 2017-18 budget on Monday, April 24.
The hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office.
The Board of Selectmen approved a $2.37 million budget April 7.
The proposed budget is about $10,000 less than the 2016-17 budget.
A significant difference between the current budget and next year’s proposed budget is that Federal Insurance Contribution Act taxes and employee benefits are included in the department budget articles. In the past, they were included in a separate warrant article.
